A short, heavy fart sound effect often labeled "prout gras" online. People use it in reaction edits, prank clips, and awkward fail moments.

This clip is a very short fart sound with a thick, wet, low-pitched tone, which is why it is often called a "prout gras" in French. It lands fast and leaves almost no buildup, making it perfect for sudden punchlines. The sound gives a scene an instantly silly, childish feel and usually turns an awkward pause, failed move, or over-serious moment into a joke. Because it is so brief, creators often use it as a sharp reaction button rather than as background audio.

The exact source of this clip is not clearly documented from the available details, but it is commonly shared online as a short French-labeled fart sound effect. Sounds like this spread widely through reaction edits, messaging apps, and low-effort meme videos because they are instantly understood without context. Its appeal comes from the blunt timing: one tiny audio burst can deflate a serious moment or turn a minor fail into slapstick. That simple comic use keeps it circulating across short-form video and soundboards.
