Megumin shouting "Explosion" from KonoSuba, the anime spell cast clip people use for over-the-top reveals, chaos edits and dramatic punchlines.

This clip is Megumin’s iconic shouted “Explosion” right before she unleashes her signature magic in KonoSuba. It starts with a sharp, theatrical voice delivery and instantly signals that something absurdly powerful or exaggerated is about to happen. The sound works because it feels both epic and knowingly overdramatic, so viewers get the joke even in very short edits. Creators often drop it on big reveals, sudden destruction, failed restraint, or any moment where a tiny setup gets treated like the end of the world.

Megumin is a character from KonoSuba, where she is known for using explosion magic as her signature spell. Her dramatic delivery of “Explosion” became one of the most recognizable anime audio clips in meme edits and short videos. It spread through anime fan compilations, gaming montages, and reaction posts because it instantly adds exaggerated magical payoff. It is still popular for the same reason creators use clips like To be Continued (jojo): the audio tells the audience a big, ridiculous moment is landing.
