The Horrorboros scream from Splatoon is a harsh boss roar used in edits, meme clips and gaming videos to signal danger, panic or a sudden threat.

This sound is the scream or roar associated with Horrorboros, the giant serpent-like King Salmonid from Splatoon. It has a sharp, monstrous quality that starts loud and cuts through a scene fast, making it ideal for moments meant to feel chaotic or intimidating. In a clip, it instantly reads as a boss warning, a panic cue or a dramatic reveal. The sound works especially well when a player gets overwhelmed, an enemy appears out of nowhere or a joke suddenly turns into total disaster.

Horrorboros is a King Salmonid from Splatoon 3's Salmon Run mode, added in the game's post-launch content. Its scream became a recognizable clip among Splatoon players because the boss itself is large, loud and tied to high-pressure waves. Online, the sound is used beyond the game as a quick danger cue in gaming edits and reaction memes. It stays useful because the roar is instantly readable even for viewers who do not know the exact source, much like a FNAF Jumpscare Scream in fast meme editing.
