The short Pop Goes the Weasel music box cue from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, often used in creepy edits, countdown jokes and horror game memes.

This clip is the brief, tinny music box version of Pop Goes the Weasel heard in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. It has a delicate, childlike melody, but the thin mechanical tone makes it feel uneasy instead of playful. Because the sound is so short, it lands fast and gives a scene an instant sense of tension, warning or something about to go wrong. Viewers usually recognize it as a creepy FNAF cue, so it works well when you want a harmless moment to suddenly feel unsettling.

This sound comes from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the 2014 horror game by Scott Cawthon. Players know it as the music box tune tied to the Puppet mechanic, which made the melody memorable far beyond the game itself. Over time, fans clipped the cue for YouTube videos, TikToks and short memes whenever they wanted a quick burst of creepy anticipation. It still gets used because the tune is instantly recognizable to FNAF fans and communicates danger in barely more than a second.
