A Brazilian Portuguese reaction sound saying “eu fico muito triste com uma notícia dessas,” used in memes, sad jokes and ironic bad news posts.

This clip is a short Brazilian Portuguese voice meme built around the line “eu fico muito triste com uma notícia dessas,” which translates roughly to “I get very sad hearing news like that.” The delivery sounds dramatic and sincere, which is exactly why people often use it ironically. In edits, it works as a reaction to fake tragedy, mild disappointment or obviously unserious bad news. The contrast between the serious tone and the trivial situation gives the sound its comic effect and makes awkward, petty or exaggerated moments feel funnier.

This audio is widely used in Brazilian meme culture as a deadpan reaction to disappointing or absurd situations. The exact original source is not reliably identified, so it is best known through reposts, reaction edits and WhatsApp forwards rather than a single confirmed show or interview. Its popularity comes from the exaggeratedly sad wording paired with low-stakes contexts, which makes it ideal for ironic punchlines. It still appears in short videos, group chats and image caption memes whenever someone wants a melodramatic sadness cue.
