A gross-out diarrhea sound effect used in memes, prank edits and toilet jokes. People add it to fails, bad food clips and awkward reaction moments.

This clip is a wet, messy bathroom-style sound effect meant to imitate an exaggerated case of diarrhea. It lands somewhere between a liquid splatter, a prolonged fart and a cartoonishly unpleasant toilet noise, which is why it gets used for crude humor. The effect is immediate: it turns an ordinary moment into a gross punchline and makes the viewer react with shock, disgust or embarrassed laughter. Because it is so over-the-top, creators usually use it for memes, prank audio and intentionally childish comedy rather than anything realistic.

The exact source of this diarrhea sound is unclear, but clips like this have circulated for years on soundboards, meme pages and prank apps as stock gross-out audio. Its popularity comes from how instantly recognizable the joke is: one second of messy toilet noise can completely change the tone of a video. It is still widely used in lowbrow comedy edits, bathroom humor and exaggerated fail compilations, often alongside other crude effects such as fart with reverb to make the punchline even more absurd.
