A shocked male voice blurts wth omg in disbelief, a popular reaction sound effect used in memes, edits and funny videos for surprising moments.

This is an exaggerated reaction clip built around a stunned voice blurting out the abbreviations wth and omg in quick succession. The delivery is loud, high pitched and increasingly frantic, turning simple shock into comedy. Over its seventeen seconds the disbelief keeps escalating rather than settling, which makes even an ordinary surprise feel huge. Viewers instantly read it as someone seeing something they cannot process, and that over the top energy is why editors use it to punctuate fails, plot twists and unbelievable moments.

The wth omg phrasing comes from texting slang, where wth shortens what the hell and omg shortens oh my god. As short form video and meme editing grew, creators began voicing those abbreviations out loud for comic effect instead of typing them in captions. The clip spread through soundboards and reaction libraries because its meaning is clear even without context. It remains popular for exaggerated shock, especially in gaming, prank and commentary videos where a creator needs an instant, overblown reaction that viewers understand in a second.

It is a reaction sound of a shocked voice saying the abbreviations wth and omg out loud. The loud, escalating delivery turns disbelief into a joke, making it ideal for surprising reveals, fails and moments that feel too strange to believe.

Where does wth omg come from?

Wth and omg are long used texting abbreviations for what the hell and oh my god. This audio version voices them for comic effect and spread online as a meme reaction clip, rather than coming from a single confirmed movie or show.

How do creators use this sound?

Creators place it at the exact moment of a reveal, fail or jump scare and let it play over a frozen or zoomed reaction face. It works best with a brief pause before the shout so the surprise lands clearly.
