A short William Afton sound from Five Nights at Freddy's TikTok memes. Creators play it for villain reveals, dark jokes and FNAF edits needing a sinister punch.

This is a short meme clip built around William Afton, the purple-suited killer behind the horror of Five Nights at Freddy's. The audio runs just under seven seconds and carries the character's cold, menacing energy that fans instantly recognise from games, fan animations and TikTok edits. Played over a reveal or a punchline, it flips a scene from playful to threatening in an instant, giving viewers the uneasy laugh that follows a villain entrance. Creators favour it because the name alone signals dread, backstory and dark humour without needing any extra context.

William Afton is the central villain of Five Nights at Freddy's, the horror game series created by Scott Cawthon that began in 2014. Known to fans as the Purple Guy, he is the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment whose murders drive the story, later returning as the animatronic Springtrap. Clips tied to his name circulate widely on TikTok and meme soundboards, where the character's infamy does the heavy lifting. Editors reach for the name because FNAF lore remains a shared language online, keeping even short, low-context Afton clips in steady rotation years after the early games.
