The classic Wazzup shout from Scary Movie, used in memes and edits for goofy surprise reveals, throwback comedy moments, and parody horror scenes.

This clip is the exaggerated "Wazzup" shout popularized by Scary Movie, delivered with loud, drawn-out energy that instantly turns a scene unserious. It has a rough, playful tone that sounds part greeting and part joke, which makes it perfect for cutting tension or making a ridiculous reveal land harder. Viewers usually recognize it right away as an early-2000s comedy reference, so even a short use can add nostalgia, silliness, and a sudden shift from normal dialogue into pure parody.

This sound is associated with Scary Movie, the 2000 horror-comedy film that spoofed slashers and pop culture trends. The "Wazzup" bit became one of the movie's most remembered gags and spread widely through quotes, remixes, and short reaction edits online. It still gets used because the delivery is instantly recognizable and easy to place after a dramatic pause for contrast. In meme culture, it often appears in throwback comedy posts and parody horror clips.
