The stretched Uuuuuhhhh loooocuuuuuraaaaaa catchphrase from Senhor Doutor Teo, a drawn-out shout of madness used for wild, chaotic reaction moments.

This is a five second vocal outburst built around one word stretched to breaking point, locura, meaning madness. A male voice launches into a long uuuuuhhhh, holds the tension, then drags out loooocuuuuuraaaaaa with rising, unhinged energy. There is no music or background effect, just the raw, exaggerated delivery that makes it feel both funny and slightly deranged. Listeners instantly read it as someone losing control in the most theatrical way possible, which is why a short clip lands so hard over an otherwise normal scene.

The clip comes from the bordão, or signature catchphrase, associated with Senhor Doutor Teo, built around the Portuguese and Spanish word locura for madness. The humour is in the extreme elongation, turning a single exclamation into a recognisable audio meme. It circulates mainly as a short soundboard clip and WhatsApp style audio, shared without context because the delivery alone signals chaos. That portability keeps it in rotation for reaction edits, where creators need an instant, over the top marker for something going completely off the rails.

✦ AI

What is the Uuuuuhhhh Locura sound?

It is a short vocal meme of Senhor Doutor Teo shouting his catchphrase, stretching uuuuuhhhh and then locura, meaning madness, into one long exaggerated outburst used to signal wild, out of control energy.

Where does the Locura catchphrase come from?

It is known as the bordão of Senhor Doutor Teo, a signature line built on the word locura. The clip spread as a standalone soundboard and messaging audio, so most people know it from shares and edits rather than a longer original scene.

How do creators use this sound in edits?

Creators place it over a moment that turns chaotic, letting the long build cover a reaction shot and the stretched locura land on the reveal. It works best dry and loud, with no music competing against the voice.
