이 사운드에 대하여

A short "Updated my journal" voice clip from Planescape: Torment, used in game edits, RPG memes, and posts about quests, notes, or sudden story updates.

This sound is a very short spoken line saying "Updated my journal," best known from Planescape: Torment. It has the crisp, old-school RPG interface feel of a quest log notification, delivered in a calm, slightly dry voice that instantly reads as classic PC game audio. Because the clip is brief and direct, it works well as a punchline for anything involving new information, keeping receipts, remembering lore, or turning a small update into a dramatic roleplaying moment.

The clip comes from Planescape: Torment, the 1999 role-playing game known for its heavy dialogue and distinctive interface voice lines. Players hear it when the journal system updates, which made it memorable far beyond its original gameplay function. Online, the sound is shared as a shorthand for documenting new information, logging discoveries, or mock-seriously treating everyday events like a classic computer RPG quest. Its staying power comes from that unmistakable late-1990s game UI tone and its usefulness as a clean, instant setup line.
