The Photoshop Flowey battle encounter sound from Undertale, a distorted glitchy burst when the final boss appears. Used for dramatic reveals and horror edits.

This short clip captures the jarring encounter sting that plays when Photoshop Flowey confronts the player at the end of Undertale. It is a harsh, warped electronic burst, layered with glitchy static, deep distorted tones and a sudden swell that feels deliberately wrong and unsettling. The sound does not build gently; it hits abruptly, as if the game itself is breaking, which is exactly why it shocks listeners on first hearing. In edits it instantly signals that something powerful, corrupted or out of control has arrived, turning an ordinary reveal into a moment of dread, surprise and dark humour.

Photoshop Flowey is the transformed final form of Flowey in Undertale, the 2015 role-playing game created by Toby Fox. The encounter sound plays when this distorted version of the flower appears to stop the player, marking one of the game's most unsettling boss fights. Clips of the moment spread through gameplay videos, fan edits and soundboards, where the glitchy audio became shorthand for a corrupted or overpowered villain. It remains popular because Undertale's fan community still remixes its boss battles, and the sound instantly signals a dramatic, sinister reveal.

What is the Photoshop Flowey battle encounter sound?

It is the distorted, glitchy audio sting that plays when Photoshop Flowey appears as a boss in Undertale. The harsh electronic burst is designed to feel corrupted and unsettling, signalling that the player faces an extremely powerful enemy.

Where does this sound come from in Undertale?

It comes from the encounter with Photoshop Flowey, Flowey's transformed final form, near the end of the game. The sound accompanies his dramatic appearance and boss battle, making the moment feel broken and threatening rather than like a normal fight.

How do creators usually use this sound in edits?

Creators usually drop it on a sudden reveal, villain entrance or plot twist, often cutting other audio for a moment so the glitch stands out. It works best once per video, paired with corrupted visuals or a screen shake, to keep its shock effect.
