Zurg reveals he is Buzz Lightyear's father in Toy Story 2, parodying Star Wars, followed by Buzz Lightyear's horrified scream and drawn out no reaction.

This clip captures the rooftop confrontation from Toy Story 2 where Emperor Zurg corners Buzz Lightyear and delivers the line I am your father. The moment is a direct parody of the famous Star Wars reveal, played for comedy because Zurg is a toy villain and Buzz takes the news completely seriously. Zurg speaks in a deep, dramatic voice, then Buzz reacts with a stunned scream that stretches into a long, anguished no. The contrast between the serious delivery and the absurd toy context makes the reaction feel huge, funny and instantly recognisable to anyone who knows either film.

Toy Story 2 was released by Pixar in 1999 and built Emperor Zurg as Buzz Lightyear's arch enemy, inspired by Darth Vader. Their rooftop fight copies the Empire Strikes Back confrontation, turning a dramatic Star Wars confession into a joke about toys playing out a movie scene. The clip spread on soundboards because the scream works outside the film as a melodramatic refusal, and fans often pair it with the Darth Vader no scream from Revenge of the Sith for double effect in edits and reaction videos online today.
