A short voice clip saying this is going to be absurd, used as a deadpan warning before a chaotic, ridiculous or over the top moment in edits.

This is a short spoken line delivered as a calm warning that whatever happens next will make no sense. The voice says the phrase this is going to be absurd in a flat, resigned tone, as if the speaker already knows the situation is about to spiral. There is no music or build up, just the statement landing on its own, which makes the pause after it feel even funnier. That contrast between the serious delivery and the silliness that follows gives edits an instant comic setup before the chaos begins.

The clip circulates online as a standalone reaction line with no confirmed original film, show or speaker attached to its soundboard uploads. Its popularity comes from how reusable the wording is, since almost any escalating prank, fail or strange challenge can follow it. Short video editors keep it in rotation because it sets an expectation in under four seconds and works even when viewers hear it without context. That flexibility has helped it spread as a general purpose warning for ridiculous moments rather than a quote tied to one scene.

What is the This Is Going To Be Absurd sound?

It is a short spoken voice clip of someone calmly saying this is going to be absurd. The flat, resigned delivery works as a warning that something ridiculous is about to happen, making it popular for reaction edits and chaotic reveals.

Where is the This Is Going To Be Absurd clip from?

It has no confirmed original film, television show or named speaker in its soundboard listings. The clip is shared mainly as a standalone meme reaction, valued because the line is generic enough to fit pranks, fails, challenges and strange moments in many different videos.

How do I use this sound in a video?

Place it just before the ridiculous part starts and let the line finish cleanly before the action begins. A short pause after absurd heightens the joke. Keep music low underneath so the deadpan voice stays clear and the contrast lands.
