This clip captures former Pittsburgh Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis shouting an exaggerated thank you to sideline reporter Dan Potash at the end of a postgame interview. His voice stretches the name into a long, loud, almost singing yell that gets funnier the longer it holds. It is not polite or quiet, it is theatrical and over the top, which is why it lands as a punchline. Played over an ordinary moment, it turns a simple thanks into a huge, sarcastic celebration that everyone in the room is meant to hear.
