Super Sussy is a short Among Us meme sound effect playing on the word sus, used to jokingly call someone or something suspicious in edits and chats.

Super Sussy is a quick, exaggerated voice clip built around the Among Us slang word sus, stretched into super sussy for comic effect. The delivery is playful and accusatory rather than serious, with the emphasis landing hard on sussy so the joke reads instantly even without visuals. At just a few seconds long it works like a punchline, turning an ordinary moment, a sideways glance or a small mistake, into a mock accusation of being an impostor. Viewers recognise the reference immediately and understand the tone is teasing, not genuinely suspicious.

The word sus comes from Among Us, the social deduction game released in 2018 that exploded in popularity in 2020, where players accuse crewmates of secretly being the impostor. Shortened from suspicious, sus spawned variants like sussy and super sussy in memes, streams and edits. Players would call an Among Us Emergency Meeting to debate the accusation, a moment also tied to the Imposter Kill scare. The phrase outlived the game's peak and now works as standalone slang for anything that looks a little off.
