Genji's Japanese Dragonblade voice line from Overwatch, used in gaming clips, anime edits and meme posts right before a dramatic attack lands.

This sound is the sharp, instantly recognisable Japanese shout "Ryujin no ken wo kurae," delivered as Genji activates Dragonblade in Overwatch. The clip is short, intense and charged with momentum, making it perfect for moments that need a sudden burst of action or a heroic reveal. Even if a viewer does not know the game, the line feels like a warning that something powerful is about to happen. That dramatic energy is why it works so well in gaming montages, anime-style edits and exaggerated meme punchlines.

"Ryujin no ken wo kurae" is Genji's Japanese Dragonblade ultimate voice line from Blizzard's Overwatch, released in 2016. Because Genji became one of the game's most recognisable heroes, the line spread far beyond Overwatch clips into highlight edits, reaction memes and anime-styled posts. It stayed popular because the phrase is short, forceful and instantly signals that a big attack or turning point is coming. Online, it is often used the same way creators use a shocked sound or other dramatic cue before an impact moment.
