Short meme sound of a mechanical dance beat and clanking moves for a twerking gag, used for silly dances, edits and absurd character moments online.

This seven second clip pairs a whirring mechanical character with a bouncy, ridiculous rhythm built for a robot twerking gag. You hear the clanking, servo-like movement and playful beat as the robot shakes its butt back and forth, turning a stiff machine into a clumsy dancer. The humour comes from the contrast between cold metal and a very human, very silly dance move. It lands instantly as a visual punchline even without context, which is why editors drop it the moment a robot, toy or character starts wiggling unexpectedly in a video.

The title translates from Russian as robot shakes its butt, and the clip circulates on user soundboards as a short meme audio with no confirmed original show, song or creator. Its spread comes from that simple, language free joke: a robot doing a twerk is funny in any edit, so the sound gets reused for dances, fails and unexpected character moments. Short looping movement sounds like this stay popular because they work as both the joke and the timing cue for the visual gag.

Where is the Robot Twerking sound from?

The original creator and source are not confirmed. The clip is known by its Russian title, which translates as robot shakes its butt, and it spreads mainly through soundboards and short meme edits rather than a known film, show or song.

Use it as a punchline when a robot, avatar or character starts wiggling or dancing unexpectedly. Place it at the first movement, keep it short, and let the visual shake line up with the rhythm instead of explaining the joke afterwards.
