Que nojo is a viral Brazilian reaction clip meaning 'how disgusting' in Portuguese. Creators drop it over gross fails, cringe moments and food disasters.

Que nojo is a short Portuguese-language voice clip built around the phrase 'que nojo', which translates to 'how disgusting' or 'that's gross'. The delivery is sharp, theatrical and dripping with exaggerated revulsion, the kind of over-the-top reaction that lands instantly even if you do not speak Portuguese. It works because disgust is universal: one second of playtime tells the viewer exactly how to feel about whatever is on screen, turning a mild moment into a comedic verdict. Brazilian meme pages and WhatsApp chats pushed it into everyday internet slang as the go-to audio for reacting to anything revolting, cringe or deeply unappealing.

The exact original source of the que nojo clip is undocumented, which is typical of Brazilian viral audios that circulate through WhatsApp forwards, TikTok edits and meme pages rather than credited uploads. The phrase itself is everyday Portuguese slang in Brazil, and the clip took off as a reusable reaction sound as short-form disgust reactions became a staple of meme culture. It endures because the delivery is perfectly theatrical: one line does the work of a whole caption, and non-Portuguese speakers use it freely as a universal symbol of revulsion.
