The Trololo song meme sound from Eduard Khil's viral vocal performance, used for trolling, pranks and reaction videos when someone gets fooled online.

This clip is the endlessly cheerful trololololol vocal hook from the Trololo song, sung without real lyrics in bright, bouncy syllables. The voice rises and falls in a playful, almost cartoonish melody that feels smug and carefree at the same time. There are no words to argue with, just that looping grin in audio form. Dropped over a fail, a prank or a bait-and-switch moment, it instantly turns frustration into a joke and tells the viewer the person on screen has been happily trolled.

The sound comes from Soviet singer Eduard Khil performing a wordless vocalise titled I Am Very Glad, as I'm Finally Returning Back Home. A television performance from 1976 resurfaced online in 2009 and spread quickly as the Trololo meme, with viewers linking its cheerful la-la delivery to internet trolling. The nickname stuck, shortened forms like trololololol spread across forums and video edits, and the clip became a standard reaction for pranks, rickrolls and playful mockery that is still reused today.
