이 사운드에 대하여

A romantic excerpt from Nino Rota’s love theme for the 1968 film Romeo and Juliet, often used for tender edits, tragic romance, and nostalgic scenes.

This clip features the sweeping love theme associated with Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. Its gentle melody carries a sense of youthful romance, while the restrained, bittersweet phrasing hints at the tragedy surrounding the couple. The music can make a scene feel intimate, nostalgic, or emotionally doomed without requiring dialogue. Because the excerpt is relatively short, it works especially well beneath slow-motion glances, wedding footage, period-inspired visuals, and dramatic relationship montages that need an instantly recognizable classical film mood.

The theme was written by Italian composer Nino Rota for Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Heard throughout the film as a musical expression of the young couple’s relationship, it became one of Rota’s most familiar screen melodies. Versions of the composition later circulated under titles connected with “A Time for Us,” helping it reach audiences beyond the movie. Its enduring combination of romance and sadness keeps it useful in film edits, wedding videos, tributes, and references to star-crossed love.
