Lasier Martins yells after getting an electric shock at the Festa da Uva in this classic Brazilian TV meme, perfect for sudden pain or surprise reactions.

The clip captures Brazilian journalist Lasier Martins shouting 'Ai! Ai!' the instant he receives an electric shock while touching a grape display live on television. His voice jumps high and sharp, with two short, startled cries that cut off quickly. There is no buildup, just the immediate reaction of someone caught completely off guard. That rawness makes the moment instantly funny and relatable, turning a brief on-air accident into a perfect audio punchline for pain, shock and unexpected mishaps online.

Lasier Martins was presenting a segment for Jornal do Almoço on RBS TV during the Festa da Uva in Caxias do Sul in 2000 when he leaned on a decorative grape vine and received an electric shock live on air. The broadcast continued, but the short cry was later clipped and shared widely on Brazilian television retrospectives, YouTube and messaging apps. Known affectionately as the uvinha moment, it became one of Brazil's earliest viral TV reactions and remains a shorthand for a sudden, harmless jolt.
