이 사운드에 대하여

The opening of Dr. Eggman's viral rant from the SnapCube Sonic parody, used in memes, edits and reaction clips when making a dramatic announcement.

This sound is the famous opening of Dr. Eggman's over-the-top speech, starting with “I've come to make an announcement.” It is delivered with loud, theatrical anger and immediately signals that a ridiculous rant is about to follow. The clip works because the serious setup clashes with how absurd the speech becomes, making it perfect for punchline-heavy edits. Viewers recognize it right away as a meme intro for fake exposés, exaggerated callouts, and videos where someone wants to announce something in the most dramatic way possible.

This meme line comes from SnapCube's Sonic Adventure 2 real-time fandub, where Dr. Eggman launches into a chaotic rant about Shadow the Hedgehog. The dub was released in 2018 and spread widely through quote reposts, animated remakes, and short-form edits. Online, people often use just the opening line because it instantly sets up a mock serious speech before a joke lands. It remains popular in meme culture for exaggerated callouts, parody apologies, and overblown personal announcements.
