이 사운드에 대하여

The viral “Hi, my name is Trey” clip about having a basketball game tomorrow, used in memes, reaction edits and awkward intro jokes.

This sound is a short spoken meme clip where a young voice says, “Hi, my name is Trey,” then follows it with the line about having a basketball game tomorrow. The delivery is flat, earnest and instantly recognizable, which makes it funny in edits that lean into awkwardness or overexplaining. It works well as a setup line before a fail, a cutaway reaction, or a deliberately corny introduction. Because the clip is so specific, viewers usually get the joke right away and expect something mildly chaotic or painfully sincere to follow.

This audio is widely known online from the quote about being Trey and having a basketball game tomorrow. It spread as a short meme sound on social platforms and in reposted video edits, where creators use it as an intentionally awkward introduction before a fail or absurd cut. The line stayed popular because it is brief, quotable and easy to recognize even out of context. It often appears alongside other quick reaction sounds like bruh in meme compilations and low-effort joke edits.
