Flowey's creepy laugh from Undertale is a mocking, high-pitched chuckle from the game's flower villain. Used in horror edits, jumpscares and dark memes.

Flowey's creepy laugh is a short, high-pitched burst of mocking laughter that sounds gleeful, unhinged and deliberately unsettling, with a childlike tone that makes it feel wrong rather than funny. The chuckle rises and falls in quick, taunting bursts, as if the speaker is enjoying someone else's fear, and its bright, almost cartoonish pitch clashes with the menace behind it. That contrast is what gives the clip its impact: it lands as a warning, a taunt or a reveal, instantly turning a lighthearted scene tense and making viewers brace for something sinister to follow.

Flowey is the talking flower from Undertale, the 2015 indie role-playing game by Toby Fox, where he first appears as a friendly guide before revealing a cruel and manipulative nature. His mocking laugh became associated with that twist, and it spread through Let's Plays, fan animations and gameplay edits as Undertale built an online following. Creators later reused it outside the game in horror edits and dark memes, where it works as a signal of villainy or a sinister turn. It remains popular because Undertale fans recognise it instantly, while newcomers still hear the menace in the tone alone.
