The Evil Minion Bahhh is a short squeaky laugh from the purple minions in Despicable Me, used as a meme reaction for mischief, plotting and evil jokes.

This is the high pitched bahhh cackle of an evil minion, the purple, wild haired version from the Despicable Me films. It lasts barely half a second, a fast, raspy bleat that sounds part laugh, part taunt, and completely unhinged. There are no words, just that manic burst of energy, which makes it instantly recognisable even without the image. Played over a clip it signals that someone is up to no good, turning a small prank or smug moment into a cartoon villain reveal that lands as silly rather than threatening.

Evil minions first appeared in Despicable Me 2 in 2013, created when regular minions were transformed into purple, frizzy haired creatures with wide mouths and wild behaviour. Their gibberish sounds and manic laughs became popular clips online because minion memes spread widely on social media in the 2010s. This short bahhh cut isolates one of those cackles for quick reaction use. Editors keep using it because the character is instantly known and the sound alone communicates chaotic evil without needing dialogue or context from the film scene.
