이 사운드에 대하여

The famous “everybody clap your hands” call from the Cha Cha Slide, used in memes, party edits and crowd reaction clips to kick up energy.

This sound is the instantly recognisable hype line “Everybody clap your hands,” delivered as a party callout before the beat drives into clapping. It has a big, upbeat feel that sounds like a dance floor instruction, so it works well when a clip needs sudden crowd energy or playful audience participation. In memes and short edits, creators use it to turn ordinary moments into exaggerated celebrations, fake introductions or ironic buildups. Even on its own, the line signals that something fun, loud or deliberately over-the-top is about to happen.

This clip is widely recognised from the Cha Cha Slide, the party dance track by DJ Casper that became a staple at weddings, school dances and sports events in the 2000s. The “Everybody clap your hands” section spread far beyond the full song because it works as a self-contained cue for audience participation. Online, people reuse it in meme edits, reaction videos and short-form clips whenever they want instant communal hype, a nostalgic party reference or a deliberately cheesy burst of celebration.
