Ennard moving in the vent is a metallic scraping sound effect from Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location, used for jumpscare build-ups and horror edits.

This is the short audio cue of Ennard crawling through a vent, built from hollow metal clanks, scraping and a low shifting rumble that lasts just over two seconds. The sound feels cramped and close, as if something large is squeezing through a tight metal shaft just out of sight. Because it gives away movement without showing the character, it creates instant tension and dread. Listeners familiar with Sister Location recognise it as a warning sign, while new viewers still feel the unease from the echoing, industrial texture alone.

Ennard first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, released in 2016, as an amalgamation of the Funtime animatronics' endoskeletons. The character became a fan favourite for its mask, tangled wire body and unsettling presence in the game's later nights and custom night modes. Clips of its vent movement have since circulated among FNAF creators on soundboards and in fan games, edits and animations. The cue remains popular because a brief metal scrape instantly signals an unseen animatronic approaching, even without any visuals from the original game.
