이 사운드에 대하여

Don Robert's calmala from Futbol al Dia on Multimedios is a Spanish sports TV catchphrase clip people drop to tell an angry friend to calm down.

This is a short voice clip of Mexican sports commentator Don Robert repeating his catchphrase calmala, meaning calm down or take it easy. Recorded from the Futbol al Dia show, his delivery is slow, serious and slightly exasperated, like a veteran trying to settle a heated argument. The repetition makes it instantly quotable and funny out of context. Dropped into a loud moment it instantly deflates the tension, turning anger or panic into a joke and signaling that everyone needs to relax before the conversation escalates further.

Don Robert, real name Roberto Hernandez Jr., was a well known sports narrator for Multimedios in Monterrey and host of Futbol al Dia. His calmala became a signature line during passionate football debates on the show, used to cool down panelists and callers. Clips later circulated on Mexican social media and soundboards as a universal calm down reaction, especially among football fans. The short repeatable phrase survived beyond the program because it works in any tense chat, game lobby or comment thread without needing context about the original argument.
