The Demoman’s “Have at ’em, lads” voice line from Team Fortress 2, used for team pushes, chaotic battles, gaming memes, and reaction edits online.

This sound captures the Demoman enthusiastically shouting, “Have at ’em, lads,” in Team Fortress 2. His forceful Scottish delivery turns the short command into a lively battle cry, with enough energy to signal an attack or introduce sudden chaos. The clip feels bold, rowdy, and immediately recognizable to players familiar with the character. In videos, it creates anticipation just before a group charges forward, a plan falls apart, or an ordinary scene erupts into an exaggerated fight. Its compact length also makes it effective as a quick gaming reaction.

“Have at ’em, lads” is a Demoman voice line from Team Fortress 2, Valve’s team-based multiplayer game released in 2007. Demoman is presented as a Scottish explosives specialist, and his energetic combat dialogue became familiar through repeated matches, character compilations, and community-made videos. The line later spread through gameplay edits and memes built around reckless group attacks. Like the multiplayer callout Enemy Spotted, it remains useful because its meaning is immediate even without visual context: a fight or team charge is about to begin.
