A short Cyn climbing sound effect from Murder Drones, with a quick creepy scuttle used for jumpscares, sneaking scenes and unsettling meme edits.

At less than a second long, this clip captures the fast, skittering movement linked to Cyn as she climbs in an unnatural, insect-like way. The sound is a rapid series of light taps and scrapes, close and dry, with no voice or music behind it, which makes the movement feel suddenly very near. Because Cyn is presented as sweet on the surface and terrifying underneath, that quick scuttle carries instant menace. Viewers recognise the danger before anything appears on screen, so a brief climb becomes a warning sign, a small jump scare, and a punchline all at once.

Cyn is a central antagonist in Murder Drones, the animated web series created by Liam Vickers and produced by Glitch Productions, which began with a pilot in 2021. Possessed by the Absolute Solver, the small worker drone moves and speaks in ways that clash with her maid outfit and polite voice, making even simple actions like climbing feel wrong. Fans clipped her short movement sounds for edits and soundboards, where the clip now works as instant shorthand for a creepy character approaching from out of frame.

What is the Cyn climbing sound?

It is a very short sound effect of Cyn scuttling and climbing, lasting less than a second. The clip is made of quick tapping and scraping noises with no dialogue, which is why editors use it as a creepy movement cue.

Where is Cyn from?

Cyn comes from Murder Drones, an animated web series by Glitch Productions that began in 2021. She is a worker drone possessed by the Absolute Solver, and her polite manner mixed with unsettling movement makes her one of the series villains.

How do people use this sound in edits?

Creators place it just before a reveal, under a ceiling or wall climb, or over a character sneaking into frame. Because it ends so quickly, it works best as a single hit rather than a looped background sound.
