이 사운드에 대하여

The canon event sound from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, used in TikTok edits to mark an unavoidable moment that cannot be changed or interfered with.

This short clip captures the dramatic musical cue associated with canon events in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, where certain moments in a Spider-Person's life are fixed and must happen for their universe to survive. It opens with a tense, rising swell that lands on a heavy, ominous hit, giving an ordinary clip the weight of destiny. Creators drop it over a fail, a breakup, an embarrassing moment or a decision they cannot undo, and the sound instantly tells viewers that interfering would only make things worse. The effect is both serious and funny, because the grand, cinematic tone makes a small personal mishap feel like a universe-defining event.

The idea comes from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), where Miguel O'Hara and the Spider-Society explain that every Spider-Person has canon events, fixed tragedies and milestones that must happen or their universe unravels. The concept spread on TikTok in 2023, where creators filmed themselves watching a friend make a doomed choice and refusing to intervene because it was a canon event. The sound became shorthand for that joke, and it is still used whenever a moment feels inevitable, fated or too familiar to stop.
