Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls insists she is not a cubby crybaby in this short voice clip, often used for funny denial reactions and playful cartoon edits.

Bubbles delivers a defensive, high-pitched protest in her sweet but exasperated cartoon voice, repeating that she is not a cubby crybaby while sounding exactly like someone trying very hard not to cry. The line is short, squeaky and instantly recognisable, with the earnest delivery making the denial feel both funny and a little pitiful. It works because Bubbles is the most sensitive of the Powerpuff Girls, so hearing her argue against being called a crybaby lands as a joke about pride, feelings and childhood stubbornness. Listeners usually smile at the contradiction before they even process the words.

The line comes from The Powerpuff Girls, the Cartoon Network series about Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, three young sisters who fight crime while dealing with everyday childhood problems. Bubbles, the kindest and most emotional of the trio, is often teased for crying easily, which makes her protest especially fitting. Shared widely as a short soundboard clip, it has become a handy reaction sound for denial, embarrassment and playful arguments in fan edits, memes and short videos.
