이 사운드에 대하여

A short clip of Smash Mouth's All Star, best known from the Shrek opening. People use this song for nostalgic intros, jokes and early 2000s meme edits.

This sound is a short excerpt from All Star by Smash Mouth, the upbeat pop rock track many people recognise as the Shrek theme song. It has bright guitar, a punchy drum groove and the instantly familiar singalong energy that makes an intro feel playful right away. In edits, it quickly signals early internet nostalgia, goofy confidence and that slightly chaotic fairy tale vibe people associate with the first Shrek movie. Even a brief clip can turn an ordinary reveal into something more ironic, cheerful or knowingly over the top.

All Star is a 1999 song by Smash Mouth that reached a much wider meme audience after appearing prominently in the opening of Shrek in 2001. Online, the track became shorthand for the movie itself, especially in edits, remixes and nostalgic jokes about early 2000s animation. Its cheerful energy and immediate recognisability helped it stay popular across video platforms for years. Many listeners search for it as the Shrek opening song rather than by the band's name, which keeps the clip highly searchable and widely reused.
