Wario's falling scream from Mario Kart Wii, captured as he tumbles off the track. Creators use it for fail clips, wipeouts and character knockouts in memes.

Wario's exaggerated falling yell from Mario Kart Wii lasts just over two seconds, starting with a startled yelp that stretches into a wobbling downward wail as he drops off the course. The voice is cartoonish and rubbery, pitched with comic panic rather than real fear, and it lands instantly as a joke because players recognise the moment of losing a race in the most embarrassing way. Dropped over an edit, it turns any stumble, fall or mistimed jump into a punchline, giving viewers the shared satisfaction of watching a confident character get humbled mid-air.

Wario has been part of Nintendo's Mario cast since his debut in Super Mario Land 2 in 1992, and his voice became a fixture of Mario Kart Wii, released in 2008. The falling scream plays when a racer tumbles off the track, and its theatrical panic made it a favourite for soundboard uploads and fail compilations. Editors often pair it with the classic cartoonish slip sound to sell a clumsy pratfall, keeping the Wii-era clip in rotation long after the game's peak.
