このサウンドについて

The classic Tom and Jerry intro theme from the cartoon series, used in edits, nostalgia posts and funny setup clips before chaos starts.

This sound is the opening theme associated with Tom and Jerry, the long-running cartoon about a cat-and-mouse rivalry that usually turns into fast, chaotic slapstick. The clip has that bright, old-school cartoon feel people instantly recognize, so it sets up a playful mood before anything even happens. In edits and memes, it works like a signal that trouble, chasing or comic destruction is about to begin. Because the melody is so familiar, it gives videos a nostalgic punch while making the scene feel bigger and more dramatic.

Tom and Jerry began as an MGM animated series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940, and its opening music became closely tied to the franchise across decades of shorts and TV broadcasts. Online, the intro is widely used in nostalgic edits and in videos that set up an inevitable chase, much like a cartoon chase. Its lasting appeal comes from instant recognition: a few seconds of the opening can make ordinary footage feel like classic slapstick.
