このサウンドについて

The Thomas the Dank Engine sound is a meme remix of Thomas & Friends audio, used in ironic edits, cursed videos and sudden reveal jokes online.

Thomas the Dank Engine is a short meme clip built around the familiar Thomas & Friends sound, but twisted into a darker, more absurd joke. Instead of feeling cheerful and childlike, it lands as weird, overblown and intentionally cursed. The contrast is what makes it funny: a wholesome childhood reference turned into something chaotic and ominous. Creators use it when a train appears, when a harmless moment becomes unsettling, or when they want to exaggerate a ridiculous reveal with instantly recognisable internet meme energy.

Thomas the Dank Engine is a remix-based meme tied to Thomas & Friends that became popular through online shitposts and ironic video edits in the mid-2010s. The joke comes from corrupting a well-known children's TV sound into something darker, louder or more menacing. It spread across YouTube meme compilations, repost pages and short-form edits because the reference is instantly recognisable even in very short clips. It still gets used whenever creators want a nostalgic image to collide with chaotic internet humor.
