JonTron's sarcastic 'srsly?' reaction from his Birdemic review, a short voice clip creators use to mock something absurd or unbelievable in videos.

This is JonTron delivering a single, drawn-out question in a tone of pure disbelief, the kind of voice that rises at the end and hangs in the air just long enough to make the absurdity land. It sounds less like a genuine question and more like a verdict, flat, sarcastic and slightly exasperated, as if he cannot quite believe what he has just watched. Lifted from his review of the famously bad film Birdemic, the clip works because it lets the listener do the judging for you, turning a ridiculous moment into a punchline without needing any extra explanation or setup.

The clip comes from JonTron, the YouTube reviewer known for his over-the-top reactions to bad movies, and his take on Birdemic, a low-budget horror film that became famous for its wooden acting and unconvincing effects. Fans clipped his baffled response and shared it across YouTube edits, soundboards and meme videos, where it became shorthand for disbelief. It endures because it is instantly recognisable, only a few seconds long, and fits almost any moment when something on screen is too strange to take seriously.
