A short spoken clip saying some things smell like shit, used as a blunt disgusted reaction in memes and videos when something looks or feels foul.

This is a three-second spoken reaction clip built around one blunt, deadpan line. The voice is dry and matter-of-fact rather than shouted, which makes the insult land harder because it sounds like a calm verdict instead of an angry rant. There is no music or background noise to soften it, so the words arrive cleanly and linger for a beat after they finish. For a viewer, the humour comes from that contrast: a gross, everyday complaint delivered with complete confidence. It works best as a punchline, instantly telling the audience that whatever just appeared on screen is unpleasant, cheap, or simply not worth defending.

Because the line is short, blunt, and instantly understandable, it circulates mainly as a reaction sound for short-form video and meme edits rather than as a quotation tied to one famous scene. Creators tend to save it for moments of exaggerated disgust, especially when a visual alone might not sell the joke. Its appeal is in its directness: there is no setup to explain, so it can be dropped into a clip, a stream highlight, or a group chat and still land immediately. That portability makes a three-second insult easy to reuse across different edits.
