The Tocha laugh is a loud, exaggerated vocal burst used in memes and funny edits to mock a fail, tease a friend, or add chaotic energy to a short clip.

This is a long, rolling laugh that builds from a chuckle into a full, wheezing burst, lasting just over twelve seconds. The voice sounds playful and slightly unhinged, with sharp gasps between laughs that make it feel more like a cartoon villain enjoying a joke than a polite giggle. Because it keeps going, it lands best as a reaction rather than a quick punchline, stretching a funny moment until it feels absurd. Listeners tend to picture someone laughing at their own prank, which is why it works so well for mocking a mistake, celebrating a troll, or turning an ordinary fail into something deliberately over the top.

Risada Tocha circulates online as a short, user-shared laugh clip, with its Portuguese name simply meaning a torch laugh, though no single film, show, or creator is reliably credited as its source. Its appeal comes from its length and intensity, which make it easy to reuse as a reaction sound in memes, gaming edits, and short-form videos. Because the laugh is instantly recognisable even without context, creators keep returning to it whenever they need a clear, over-the-top signal that something has gone wrong in a funny way.
