このサウンドについて

The cheerful pika pika voice of Pikachu from Pokemon, a short cute sound effect often used in memes, edits and reaction videos for excitement or surprise.

This short clip captures Pikachu saying its name in its trademark high-pitched, cheerful voice, with the repeated pika pika syllables delivered in a quick, bouncy rhythm that sounds playful and instantly recognisable. The voice is bright, energetic and a little squeaky, like a small electric creature greeting a friend or celebrating a win, and it carries a warm, nostalgic feeling for anyone who grew up with Pokemon. Because it is so short and expressive, it lands immediately as a reaction, adding cuteness, excitement or lighthearted surprise to a moment without needing any explanation or context.

Pikachu is the mascot of Pokemon, the Japanese media franchise that began with video games in 1996 and grew into a long-running animated series, films and trading cards. In the anime and games, Pikachu communicates almost entirely by repeating variations of its own name, with pika pika becoming its most familiar and cheerful call. That simple, instantly recognisable cry spread far beyond the original series through fan edits, reaction videos and short-form memes, where it now works as shorthand for cuteness, excitement and nostalgia.
