このサウンドについて

The iconic Optimus Prime introduction from the Transformers films, used in memes, edits and dramatic character reveal videos online.

This clip features the famous line “My name is Optimus Prime,” delivered in the deep, steady voice associated with the Transformers leader. It has a serious, cinematic tone that instantly makes a moment feel larger and more heroic. Even as a short sample, the voice carries weight and authority, which is why people use it for joke introductions, character reveals, power-up edits and dramatic meme setups. The contrast between the grand delivery and an ordinary subject often makes the clip funnier, while straight action edits use it for a genuine epic effect.

This sound is best known from the live-action Transformers movies, where Optimus Prime is voiced by Peter Cullen. Clips of his introductions became popular in meme edits and short videos because the delivery is instantly recognizable and naturally cinematic. Online, creators use it to frame someone or something as legendary, serious or unexpectedly powerful. Its staying power comes from that contrast: a noble, world-saving tone applied either to actual action footage or to completely trivial reveals for comedic effect.
