このサウンドについて

A short excerpt of Juan Boria reciting Luis Palés Matos's Afro-Caribbean poem Majestad Negra, used for dramatic, rhythmic, or cultural edits.

This clip captures Puerto Rican declaimer Juan Boria performing part of Majestad Negra, a poem by Luis Palés Matos. Boria's resonant voice, deliberate cadence, and emphatic delivery give the Spanish-language verse a ceremonial, theatrical quality. The recitation draws much of its impact from rhythm and vocal expression rather than melody, making even a brief excerpt feel commanding. In an edit, it can introduce Puerto Rican literary culture, underscore a dramatic entrance, or add gravitas to visuals built around heritage, poetry, dance, and performance.
