このサウンドについて

A five-second audio clip from the online blue kid meme, used to punctuate sudden disappearances, color changes, visual glitches, and absurd edits.

This short meme clip is associated with the visual gag of a kid turning blue and abruptly vanishing. Its five-second length gives editors enough time to establish the strange transformation before landing the disappearance as the punchline. The audio works best when the viewer can see the color shift or removal happen in sync, making an already surreal moment feel even more sudden and confusing. Creators often use it for deliberately rough effects, unexpected character exits, gaming failures, and edits where someone appears to be erased from the scene.

The exact original production source of this clip is not reliably documented. Online, it is identified through phrases such as blue screen kid, blue kid meme, and Chris turns blue. The joke spread through reposts and short-form edits built around a simple visual sequence: a child changes color and then disappears. It remains useful because the setup is immediately understandable without context, while the abrupt removal can exaggerate glitches, defeats, awkward exits, or intentionally low-budget visual effects.
