The 1998 Majors goal horn from the OHL, a loud brassy arena blast marking a hockey score. Editors use it for highlight reels, celebrations and reaction videos.

This is a short, powerful hockey goal horn recorded for the Majors, the kind of sound that fills an arena the instant the puck crosses the line. It opens with a sharp, brassy blast that holds just long enough to feel triumphant, then cuts off cleanly, leaving the echo of a crowd-ready celebration behind it. At just over six seconds, it is punchy rather than drawn out, so it lands as a single moment of victory instead of background noise. For a viewer, it instantly signals that something exciting has happened, turning an ordinary clip into a goal, a win, or a comeback worth cheering.

The clip is listed as the Majors goal horn from 1998, tied to the Ontario Hockey League, where a goal horn is a familiar part of the arena experience after a score. In the OHL, that blast is meant to be heard over the crowd, marking the moment for players and fans alike. Online, the short recording has been reused far beyond a single game, appearing in hockey edits, sports reaction videos and celebration montages where a quick, recognisable signal of success is needed. Its brevity and direct association with scoring help explain why editors keep returning to it.
