このサウンドについて

Ike’s “I fight for my friends” voice line from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, used as a gaming meme for loyalty, teamwork, and mock-heroic edits.

This short clip features Ike firmly declaring, “I fight for my friends.” The Fire Emblem hero delivers the line with complete sincerity and a steady, determined tone, making it sound both noble and unusually direct. That contrast helped the quote become a recognizable gaming meme beyond its original victory-screen context. In edits, it can make an act of teamwork feel heroic, turn an overdramatic defense of someone into a joke, or underline a character’s fierce loyalty. The brief pause and clean delivery also make the audio easy to place after a reveal or decision.

The quote is spoken by Ike, the protagonist of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and a major character in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It became especially familiar through Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released in 2008, where Ike uses the line during a victory sequence. Players embraced its plain wording and earnest delivery, turning it into a recurring joke in gaming communities, fan art, videos, and matchup discussions. It remains popular because it instantly communicates loyalty while leaving room for affectionate parody.
