The startled screech of Blue the velociraptor from Jurassic World, used as a sudden scare or jump-scare sound in memes, edits and reaction videos.

The clip captures Blue, the lead velociraptor from Jurassic World, letting out a sharp, sudden screech that sounds more like a startled shriek than a deep dinosaur roar. It rises quickly, cuts through a quiet moment, and lands with an animal urgency that makes listeners flinch before they even see what caused it. Because Blue is instantly recognisable to Jurassic World fans, the sound carries both a creature effect and a character reaction in one short burst. In edits it works as a surprise punch, turning an ordinary reveal, prank or jump scare into something louder, wilder and harder to ignore.

Blue is the lead velociraptor in the Jurassic World films, trained by Owen Grady and known for her distinctive blue stripe and loyal, intelligent behaviour. Her vocalisations, including sharp screeches and barks, became familiar to audiences through the films and their trailers, clips and fan edits. Short raptor sounds like this one spread through soundboards and meme edits because they are instantly recognisable without dialogue. They still work today as a quick animal scare, especially in dinosaur, gaming and prank content where a sudden creature reaction adds tension.
