A short Ennard sound effect from Five Nights at Freddy's with a sharp haircut-style snip, used by FNAF fans in edits, jumpscare setups and horror meme videos.

The clip pairs Ennard's unsettling animatronic presence with a crisp, close-up haircut sound, so the familiar snip of scissors lands somewhere between grooming and horror. It opens with a tense, mechanical edge that suggests something artificial moving just out of sight, then cuts through with clean, rhythmic snips that feel oddly intimate. Played on its own, it works as a sudden punchline, but the FNAF association gives it a creepier charge than a normal barbershop effect. Listeners expect something ordinary and instead get a reminder that Ennard is not quite human, which makes it ideal for a quick scare or a joke that turns unsettling in the last second.

Ennard is the tangled endoskeleton antagonist introduced in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location in 2016, built from the parts of the game's other animatronics and known for its unsettling, almost human voice and movements. Short clips tied to the character circulate widely on fan soundboards, where creators reuse them outside the game for edits, reactions and horror-themed memes. This version pairs that FNAF identity with a haircut sound, a combination that works because the everyday snip feels wrong coming from an animatronic, keeping the clip useful long after Sister Location's release.

What is the Ennard haircut sound?

Where is Ennard from?

Ennard comes from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, released in 2016. The character is a tangled endoskeleton formed from the other animatronics in the game, and it serves as one of the game's main antagonists in its later stages.

How do creators use this sound?

Creators usually drop it over a reveal, a transformation or a horror edit, letting the haircut snips land just before something creepy appears. It also works as a short reaction sound in FNAF gameplay videos, memes and short-form edits.
