A shouted Cars 2 line telling someone to come back and stop, used by creators for chase scenes, failed escapes and runaway moments in short videos.

The clip is a brief, urgent shout from Cars 2, delivered in a raised, commanding voice that sounds both frustrated and determined. The speaker calls out twice in quick succession, first demanding that someone return and then ordering them to stop, with a sharp, breathless energy that makes the moment feel like a chase is already underway. Because it is so short and direct, it lands instantly, giving a scene a sense of panic, authority and comic desperation. Listeners recognise the cartoonish urgency at once, which makes it easy to picture a character sprinting after someone who has just slipped away.

The line comes from Pixar's Cars 2, the 2011 sequel in the Cars series, where it is delivered as a hurried shout during a chase-style moment. Short clips from animated films often travel well on soundboards because a single expressive line can be lifted out of its scene and reused without needing any context. This one has survived for that reason: the command is instantly clear, even to viewers who do not know the film, and it fits neatly over pets, friends, gamers and other subjects who suddenly run off. Its brevity keeps it easy to drop into edits.

What is the Come back here, stop sound?

It is a brief, urgent shout from Cars 2 in which a character demands that someone return and then stop. The clip is only about one and a half seconds long, which makes it easy to drop into chase scenes and funny escape moments.

Where does the sound come from?

The line comes from Pixar's Cars 2, the animated sequel released in 2011. It is used as a hurried shout during a chase-style moment, and soundboard users have since lifted it out of that scene for unrelated edits.

How do creators usually use this sound?

Creators usually place it at the moment someone starts running away, often over pets, friends or game characters. It works best on its own, without music covering the shout, so the command stays clear and funny.
