このサウンドについて

A meme clip of the line about Chunky Kong being dead, based on the Donkey Kong 64 rap joke. People use it for sudden fail edits and absurd punchlines.

This sound is the short meme line about Chunky Kong being dead, usually heard as a deadpan, abrupt punchline after a character introduction. The humor comes from how suddenly it swerves from a normal roll call into a darkly silly joke, which makes it land well in ironic edits. It is commonly used in gaming memes, bait-and-switch videos, and reaction posts where something goes wrong instantly. Even without context, the line feels oddly dramatic, so it works as a quick audio sting for failure, elimination, or anti-climax moments.

This meme is tied to Chunky Kong from Donkey Kong 64 and jokes around the famous DK Rap character introduction format. Online, people quote it as "and then there's Chunky, he's dead" in parody edits, misheard versions, and absurd remixes rather than as a straight in-game line. It spread through meme videos and soundboards because the wording is short, unexpected, and easy to drop into gaming jokes. The clip stays popular because it instantly signals a goofy anti-climax to anyone who knows Donkey Kong memes.
